PostLearn
Effective date: 24 May 2026
PostLearn is provided by TeachSmarts. You can contact us at andrew@teachsmarts.com.
By creating an account, signing in, importing content, creating a session, posting to Google Classroom, or using a student access link or PIN, you agree to these Terms. If you use PostLearn for a school or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to use the service for that organisation and to provide any student or classroom information you submit.
PostLearn helps teachers create, distribute, and review learning activities. You remain responsible for reviewing all content, questions, summaries, marks, feedback, and classroom posts before relying on them or sharing them with students. PostLearn does not replace teacher judgement, school policy, or professional advice.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for using Google services only in ways permitted by Google and your school. When you authorise Google access, PostLearn uses that access to perform the actions you request, such as browsing selected Drive files, importing Google Docs or Google Forms content, and posting coursework to Google Classroom. You must not submit content or authorise access unless you have the right to do so.
If you invite students to use PostLearn, you are responsible for ensuring your school has provided any required notices, permissions, consents, or lawful bases for collecting and using student information. You must not use PostLearn to collect sensitive information unless it is necessary for the learning activity and lawful for you to collect it.
You must not misuse PostLearn, interfere with the service, attempt to bypass plan limits or security controls, upload unlawful or harmful content, scrape or reverse engineer the service, share access tokens, impersonate another person, or use PostLearn in a way that breaches laws, school rules, third-party rights, or these Terms.
Paid features, usage limits, and prices may change from time to time. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes. Access to third-party services such as Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Forms, Firebase, or Stripe may affect availability. We may suspend or limit access where needed to protect PostLearn, users, students, or legal compliance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, any liability that can be limited is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having the service supplied again.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant PostLearn a limited licence to host, process, display, transmit, and use that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. PostLearn, its design, branding, code, and service features remain owned by TeachSmarts or its licensors.
To the extent permitted by law, PostLearn is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or loss-of-profit damages, or for losses caused by user content, third-party services, school policy decisions, unauthorised account use, or your failure to review content before use.
You agree to take responsibility for claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of PostLearn, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your failure to obtain required authority or consent for data you provide.
We may update these Terms by publishing a new version in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using PostLearn at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or the service is being misused.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the applicable laws of the Australian state or territory connected with the dispute, unless another law must apply.

Some providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and protect information in a way that is consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy obligations.
Teachers and schools are responsible for ensuring they have authority to provide student information to PostLearn and to invite students to participate. Students should use PostLearn under teacher, school, parent, or guardian direction where required.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information, including authentication, access controls, rate limits, and restricted administrative access. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain records, and protect the service, then delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.
You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you. Teachers or schools may also request deletion of classroom or student information where appropriate. Contact andrew@teachsmarts.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first at andrew@teachsmarts.com. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
We may update this Privacy Policy as PostLearn changes or legal requirements change. The latest version will be available in the app.
